What is the deal…first I thought I had a rough week, with the heat in Louisiana, kids starting school, stress at the job, loneliness an issue…
And then Friday…so weird…quiet quiet quiet yea for like 3 hours and then BAM challenges came quick…but I’m not going there in detail right now….
So….
A nice evening at a popular historic restaurant in Opelousas, La called Soileau’s wast something to look forward to.
Husband was actually on time and we didn’t leave our company waiting…
And Oh, the company was so sweet…the couple we were with have small children and it just made the evening so sweet for me.
Kids say the darnedest things…little 7 years old girls, modeling their dresses, saying they shared their clothes…little brother 4yrs old telling stories of his first day at pre K saying “when I was a little boy”….just so cute…
Funny thing I heard the father say to kids brought back memories of when my children were small..
Have you ever made your children go the bathroom before taking them to a restaurant to have them be obsessed with the bathroom at the restaurant???
Oh gosh, my girls always had to go to the bathroom as soon as we sat down to order!!
Well, this Dad came up with this idea…and made a deal with his children that if they didn’t use the bathroom at the restaurant he would give them each a dollar…So, all these children were all holding their pee, to get a reward of a Dollar!
So, my evening was nice…slept like a baby…woke up to good awesome dark Community coffee, gave my husband a crew cut and then sent him on his way to farm.
I made my menu for the week and then my grocery list and set out to do my shopping…..and then it began….
The craziness….my shopping went well and I was set to do some organizing of groceries but that didn’t happen…
Cowboy was on way home in rush and wanted me to fix him sandwich to go…
Well I got wrapped up in the organizing and forgot the sandwich until when he walked in the door…
Well Mr. Rush Rush….was to rushed to wait for me to make him a sandwich so he decided to pick up some boudin on his way to the Milo grain Field.
Well, about 20 minutes later……Cowboy calls…guess what? He forget the keys to the Combine!
So, I had to stop what I was doing and head out to the field to give him his Combine keys!!!!
Well, during all this I was worried about one of my best friends, its her birthday and she had planned this great party at her house…and everyone was cancelling on her…she was so sad…
Then, yesterday my daughter cars was broke again and she needed money to go get the repair part for it, today…
Then, I finally take a breather after unloading some groceries to use the bathroom and what do I see down the hall?
…….Shredded up toilet paper all down the hall way! and then in the bathroom the toilet paper that was on the stand was all undone!
Yep…my little puppies…they had a party while I was in town shopping!!!!
So, yes…my days have been so crazy, bizzare!
Tonight, we are having a small party across the street for my friends birthday…making shish kebabs…and drinking beer and wine and playing taboo!
I had an awesome hard bike ride in the country with the birthday girl and need to go get washed up, but felt very random in wanting to post something…and oh yea..another thing…
I love Big Brother and this season !! 11…..Is so Hot!
Well, Chima left the house….bad attitude woman….gotta learn some self control…
Well, I cant wait to see the show..
but first I will drink a little wine…..See ya!
